Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Pickleball365 is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regarding the collection of information from children.
Our Commitment:
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
- We verify age during account creation through date of birth validation
- Account creation is automatically blocked for users under 13
- We do not store full birthdates - only birth year for eligible users (13+)
- If we learn we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly

Account Information
- Name and email address
- Birth year (to verify age eligibility, not full birthdate)

Equipment Data
- Paddle information (brand, model, variant)
- Shoe information (brand, model)
- Equipment usage in matches
Equipment data is optional and only collected when you choose to log your gear when submitting match results.
Usage Data
- App usage patterns and features accessed
- Device information and browser type
- IP address and general location data
How We Use Your Information
- Calculate and maintain your Pulse365 Measurements (analytics metrics, not ratings). Note: DUPR is the official rating system of Pickleball365.
- Provide match history and statistics
- Enable social features like following other players
- Send notifications about matches and updates
- Analyze equipment performance and usage patterns
- Provide aggregated equipment analytics to gear brands through our Partner Network (anonymized and aggregated only)
- Improve our service and develop new features
- Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Limited Sharing
- With other players (only information you choose to make public)
- With service providers who help us operate the platform
- With gear brands through our Partner Network (equipment data only, aggregated and anonymized for analytics purposes)
- When required by law or to protect our rights

- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- We use industry-standard security practices
- Access to your data is limited to authorized personnel
- Regular security audits and updates
Your Rights
Available Rights
- Update or correct your information: You can update your profile information, location, and preferences directly in your account settings.
- Delete your account and data: You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing info@pickleball365.org with the subject "Data Deletion Request." See our Data Deletion Policy for more details.
Rights Available Upon Request
- Access your data: While we do not currently offer a self-service data download feature, you can request access to your personal data by contacting us at info@pickleball365.org.
- Data portability: You can request a copy of your data in a portable format by contacting us at info@pickleball365.org.
Note: We do not currently offer opt-out mechanisms for specific data processing activities. If you wish to limit how your data is used, you may request account deletion, which will remove your personal information from our systems (subject to legal retention requirements).
